SCCC Chief Development Officer Kyle Woodrow was grateful for the supermarket’s donation and its interest in helping those in the community with their academic future.“ We are very appreciative of El Rancho Supermercado’s generous scholarship donation,” Woodrow said. “The scholarships will provide an incredible opportunity for someone who might not have otherwise considered college an option, giving them the ability to further their education. We are excited to work with El Rancho’s team and welcome their community support.” Details of the application process is being finalized and will be announced shortly. The Dallas-based supermarket chose Liberal for the site of its first store in Kansas and has already shown strong community support with giveaways including backpacks and school supplies.
